My name is Kelly Jean Murphy, and I am currently a senior at Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana. I will be graduating in May with a Liberal Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school to obtain a master's degree in School Psychology. Throughout my efolio you will see a central theme of "Enjoy it. Because it's happening," from the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chobsky.

I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio and I am an only child. I wanted to share this piece of information because it not only helped me gain the most from my Holy Cross experience but, made me the person I am today.

After high school I began my journey at Holy Cross College. I chose Holy Cross for several reasons: the academic environment, collegiate athletics, Global Perspectives, and Notre Dame. The closeness of the professors and students made me understand what Holy Cross was about. Although they teach to help you excel in the classroom, they also want you to excel in the outside world.

By clicking on the tabs located on the left you will be able to see how the opportunities I have been given at Holy Cross helped shape me in to the person I am today and how I "Enjoyed it. Because it's happening."  My capstone presentation will be held on November 21, 2013 at 2:30pm in the Pfeil Center Conference Room at Holy Cross College.
